1. Begin by heating the solder you wish to remove with a soldering iron.
2. Depress the plunger of the desoldering pump.
3. Once the solder has melted, position the tip of the desoldering pump against the solder you intend to eliminate.
4. Release the plunger by pressing on the release button.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 to eliminate any remaining excess solder.
6. Dispose of the solder collected inside the pump by repeatedly pressing down and releasing the plunger.
